When you said that you "didn't find it possible", were you saying that you didn't find it possible for the pipe to hit the tank, or, that it did hit the tank and you didn't find it possible to fit one without different risers? Also, when you did the test with the piece of pipe, did you take off the switch and throttle housings and put them on the pipe? That's where I found the problem...the flatter style dragbar will fir fine, until you put the switch and throttle housings on. To say that the new handlebar will hit the tank is actually a mistake...it's the housings that hit the tank...those and the throttle cable "elbow".
